Subject: Black Fly Suppression

An  aerial black fly suppression operation is scheduled for Thursday, July 7  on the main stem of the Susquehanna River. This operation is scheduled  to start at 0700 in the Selinsgrove area. The treatment will continue  South throughout the day ending in York County. The counties involved in  this treatment include Snyder, Northumberland, Juniata, Perry, Dauphin,  Cumberland, and York Counties.
The  treatment should be completed by late afternoon. Poor weather  conditions and technical difficulties can delay or cause postponement of  the operation.
Helicopter Applicators of  Gettysburg will be conducting the operation with a blue and white Bell  205, tail number N658HA.  Vectobac 12AS, a biological larvicide, is the  control product that will be dispersed. The label and MSDS sheet for  Vectobac 12AS are attached should you need more information on this  product.
