Eastern Sports and Outdoor Show, Feb. 6-14, 2010

I spent yesterday with JC and Barb Nuss at the ESOS in Harrisburg, Pa. JC and Barb run Lakeside Marine which is a G3 boat and Yamaha OB motor dealer. JC helped me build my G3 1860 DLX 10 years ago. It is a great fishing machine for the Susquehanna River and the prototype for the current CCJ (Jet) and the 1860 CC designs now on the market. I guess we did something right! :-)

Dave Shindler with customers at the SFT Booth. Dave also did a presentation at the BPS Hawg Trough at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Here is a pic of Bryan Hinerdeer working the cash register at SFT. Looks like Bryan is having a good time at the ESOS! "Hey Bryan, What's new for 2010!?"

Kevin Turner drove in from Missouri to promote the Lo Pro River Pro at Robbins Marine.

Beautiful Lo Pro, Kevin!

Some random pics of the Lakeside Marine Exhibit:

The first pic shows Barb talking to a past satisfied customer. This young man is looking to upgrade to a bigger jet rig.

A couple of attendees browsing and checking out the G3 1860 DLX in Ivory with a 90/65 Yamaha Jet. This is the rig that Josh "smallieman" Kreider and I run the river in a lot. Josh has a silver/black colored 1860 DLX.

The Laceyville Volunteer Fire Company was holding a gun calendar raffle. JC has been playing this raffle for 7 years without a single hit. That all changed Tuesday when he became an instant winner of a muzzle loader. As you can see, he is a happy man!

I'd like to thank all those from the fishing web sites who stopped by and introduced themselves to me. It was a lot of fun meeting and talking with you all.

I should be back up at the ESOS this Thursday (Feb. 11) and Friday (Feb. 12), weather permitting.

We are in the midst of a major winter blizzard with over a foot of snow and 50+ mph winds. As the old saying goes, "It's not fit for man nor beast" out there!
