How NotTo Turn 55 yrs. Old

What an exciting start to 2010! I turned 55 yrs. old on Christmas Day and a week later I'm flat on my back in a hospital bed. Not a good start to the new decade. In fact, I'm still in the hospital writing this blog from my room. Arrgghhh! The doctor just made his rounds and I'm heading home after supper.

I've gotten better each day and that's a definite positive. I need to see and Ear, Nose, and Throat Specialist when I leave to have a complete evalation done. No ENTs visit here at the hospital or it would have been done on Day 1.

I've been on a narcotic that can make me act like an open-book and for that I apologize to you all. I removed my Facebook posts due to it, but I am keeping the ones here up so you can see how it affected me. Not that it's all bad. I have been accused at times of not being aware that others who also have major health and personal issues in their lives and I apologize to all of you for not always being aware or not listening closer.

Hopefully, I'll be back on track with coaching basketball and fishing with my buddies. The water is a bit hard in the coves right now and it may be a few weeks until I can cast a line and bring some pictures to you all.

I need to get my G3 to Lakeside. It was suppose to go up today, but of course that never happened... LOL! I did speak to JC Nuss this morning and we'll connect later this week. My wife, God bless her, took an additional vacation week to be with me. We can get the boat up to Harrisburg, Pa. this week sometime.

Thanks and God bless all my family, friends, and close acquaintances for all your thoughts and prayers as I healed this past week.
